Both Michael Cassidy and Elizabeth McAuley arrive in the U.S. about 1887-89; their marriage probably took place in the U.S. By 1892 they have one child and are living in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. In 1900 they are living in the same building as Margaret Collins Cassidy, widow of Patrick Cassidy. Michael is said to be a first cousin of Patrick and John Cassidy. The family buys ahouse in Queens between 1925 and 1930. Michael dies in Queens County, NYC.
