Add your own route
Go to the GMAPS Pedometer web page.
To trace your bike route, click the Start recording
button. Thereafter, every double-click will draw a point on the map,
and the distance from your last point and your cumulative distance will
both appear in the boxes above.

Tips
Please also suggest a title describing the
origin and destination, as above.
If you're intrigued by the link that says "Complete there
and back route," I suggest you save your work by
making a TinyURL before you try it.
Disclaimer - Road, weather and traffic conditions may
vary. Bicyclists must remain alert to traffic and changing road
conditions, and assume the risk for their own safety at all
times. And don't take any wooden nickels.
This is a great idea that I stole from the
The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia. Imitation is
the sincerest flattery.
