The Personal DSL Package includes:
- Full-time (24 hours x 7 days a week) unlimited access from your home to the Internet over a high-speed ADSL connection.
- A static IP address, for access to firewall-protected offices. Perfect for telecommuting!
- Four individual mailboxes within the "access.net" domain, accessible via POP, IMAP, or the Panix webmail system. (Personal DSL With Shell gives you an additional single address "@panix.com".)
- 50 MB of disk space per mailbox for your incoming mail.
- Unlimited personal access to newsgroups via our NNTP server.
Personal DSL Add-Ons:
- Additional Mailboxes: $5/month
- UNIX Shell Account: $5/month.
- Cheap Web Service: Allows the addition of a custom domain name to your personal website, with an email alias within that domain. Requires a UNIX shell account.
- Dial Backup:
For those times when the DSL network is less than perfect, we can provide a Downtime Dial Backup account so you don't lose touch with your mail and the Internet. Downtime dial backup is for use when your DSL connection is unavailable or not in use, and cannot be used concurrently with the DSL line.Downtime Dial Backup: $5 per month A DSL line, unlike dialup access, is installed at a single location. This means you can't take it to work or on the road with you. Anytime Dial Backup lets you dial into Panix whenever you're away from home, leaving your family free to browse at the same time!

The Fine Print:
- Covad offers NO bandwidth guarantee on aDSL services.
- A minimum one-year commitment is required with all Panix Personal DSL services. Cancelling your line within the first year incurs a $150 early termination fee.
- Line problems requiring a Covad field technician dispatch may incur fees starting at $175 per visit.
- Prices shown do not include applicable fees and surcharges.
- Reduced shell account rate is for one shell account per aDSL circuit. Additional shell accounts are charged at the standard rate.
