In response to our customers' repeated demands for more ease of use and more options for email delivery, we have been working behind the scenes to create the best total mail system we can for you. At long last, all the hard work has paid off and all of our customers have accounts that can use the new features.
The new Panix email system makes IMAP access possible, and includes webmail access to your account. After trying out over a dozen different webmail packages, we have chosen Squirrelmail as our favorite; we think you're going to like it too. In addition to letting you read and write email from a Web browser, Squirrelmail gives you unprecedented control over your mail preferences and options.
For instance, from the web interface you can control forwarding, send a vacation message, and/or run SpamAssassin. There are also display options, like color coding your messages.
It's important that you set your mail preferences to use our new mail server name:
mail.panix.comfor incoming mail (and outgoing too, if you use us for that). To get to webmail, just go to https://mail.panix.com for Webmail. You'll need to use your email address (including the "@panix.com" part) and your regular password.
