1. In the top half of the MacTCP control panel, select one of the following:
   • FreePPP (if using FreePPP 2.5)
   • MacPPP (if using MacPPP or FreePPP versions below 2.5)

   Then hit the "More..." button to get to the MacTCP Configuration Dialog.

2. Select "Manually" under 'Obtain address', then enter the following in the "Gateway" field:
   • 198.7.0.124

3. Now select "Server" under 'Obtain address'.

4. Choose "B" from the 'Class' pop-up menu.

5. At the bottom of the dialog, you'll find areas for Domain Name Server (DNS) information. Here's what should go into this area:

         Domain       IP Address   Default
         panix.com.   198.7.0.5       x
         .            198.7.0.5
         .            166.84.67.2
       

   NOTE: Be sure to include the period after "panix.com" on the first line, and the lone periods in the second and third lines under "Domain". If they're not there, things won't work right.

6. MacTCP is now properly configured, and you can close the control panel.
