On Thursday, January 10 (one week from tomorrow) we will replace the
"vacation" program on the Panix user machines with the "vacation.new"
program that has been available on those machines for many months.
This change should not adversely affect anyone, neither those
users who are currently using "vacation" (/usr/bin/vacation)
nor those using "vacation.new" (/usr/local/bin/vacation.new),
as an active autoresponder. That is, vacation.new will continue
to work for the time being.
