    System Safety
NOTE: Although we believe in free software, the links we provide here are intended to encourage the purchase of a top-quality program. Anti-virus protection is important enough that you should consider spending the money for a top-quality program. Viruses these days don't just trash your files; many of them can and do compromise your system, turning it into a spam-sending engine; and others will steal your confidential information (credit card numbers, passwords) and send it back to the author(s) of the malware. We believe these programs to be suitable choices; however, we can make no statements regarding their reliability or performance.
