A Book Log
I realize that you won't be interested in this, but I am obligated to say that though I didn't like _LU_ either, _The Innkeeper's Song_ is really very good.

Actually, I am sort of curious as to whether his other stuff is better... but, yeah, not enough to try it out any time soon.

You know, I'm quite certain I read this, waaay back in the day (inspired, no doubt, by the Beagle intro inserted into the front of my copy of _FotR_, although I don't know why, since it struck me as somewhat twee--the intro, that is--even at a time when my twee-meter was muuuch less finely calibrated than it is now), but every time it's been mentioned in the last fifteen years or so, I've realized I have basically no recollection of its actual contents. I've never had any urge to seek out anything else by Beagle, though, which tells me that I can't have been that impressed by it.
