Crocus chrysanthus varieties in bloom: some
yellow-bronze with brown base, others orange-yellow. More Crocus
tomasinianus in bloom as well.
Started seeds of Laurentia,
Delphinium, Hollyhocks, Salvia farinacea,
Heliotrope and Verbena. Okay, so I'm a late
starter. The first three should have been started in
"late winter or early spring," the latter three
"8 to 10 weeks before last spring frost." It's
freezing today, but I think (I hope) our last frost is
less than 8 weeks away!

First crocus in bloom! These are pale blue-purple in color,
maybe a variety of Crocus tomasinianus.
More general clean-up, cutting back, etc.
