A premiere event celebrating Asian American literary arts on a national level, hosted by David Henry Hwang and Jessica Hagedorn.

Readings by the 1997 recipients for Best Poetry and Best Fiction, Mei-mei Berssenbrugge and Lois-Ann Yamanaka.

Additional readings by writers published in 1998, Lawrence Chua, Indira Ganesan, and Timothy Liu. A gala reception and book signing will follow.
