"Hair Cut"
My mother used to cut my hair since I was a baby. She did not trust the stylists
would know how to cut my hair. However, she cut my hair real short which looked
so much like a guy. Despite the fact that my mother was doing the "best" for me,
I decided to go to the salon myself.
When I went into the salon, I looked around like a tourist seeing the Statue of
Liberty. Staring at these stylists, I wondered if the owner of the salon only
hire people with nice and healthy hair (Even though there is a bold guy.) I
chose a nice-and-long hair stylist to cut my hair. After I sat down, he gave me
a book to choose what haircut I wanted. However, I was obsessed about the
stylist's long hair and did not notice myself painting at the "men section."
I regret so much because I had to pay and hate my new hair-do. When I got home
the same night, my whole family laughed at me because they thought I was their
"son." I pretended to like my hair-do and told them that I looked better with
really "short" hair.
A few week later, I got used to my short hair cut. I went out with my friend
Kelly to Macy (I haven't go out much since I hated my hair so much.) I was
wearing a baggy jeans and oversized T-shirt and Kelly was wearing a short skirt.
We looked like a little "couple." After we walked for awhile, Kelly needed to go
to the bathroom. Therefore, I went with her since I needed to wash my hand
anyway. I was washing my hand and face while she was in the bathroom. A black
woman called me, "Hey, little man!" I didn't notice she was calling me until she
screamed at me and pointed to the bathroom door, "Hey! Little Man! This is a
girl bathroom! You know the word G-I-R-L!" I was furious and yelled back, "I am
a girl and I speak English, Bitch!"
