The AAWW creates and distributes two main publications:
TEN magazine and the
Asian Pacific American (APA) Journal .
TEN (formerly explanASIAN )
is a literary news magazine with its fingers on the heartbeat
of Asian American literature, featuring reviews, articles, and
interviews. The APA Journal
is the premiere Asian American literary arts journal in the country,
edited by Eric Gamalinda and Eileen Tabios. The Journal publishes both
emerging and established writersof prose, poetry, drama, and non-fiction.
Guest editors have included Meena Alexander, Marina Budhos, John Yau,
Garrett Hongo, Chitra Divakaruni
and Arthur Sze.
