A number of publications are made available by the Workshop. Beginning with the APA Journal in 1991, the Workshop has enlarged its printing coffers to a literary newsletter, Ten (formerly known as explanASIAN), as well as the most recent bout of books: Quiet Fire: A Historical Anthology of Poetry 1892-1970, Flippin': Filipinos on America, and Contours of the Heart: South Asians Map North America.

The Asian American Pacific Journal is one of the premier Asian American literary journals. Published twice a year, the APA Journal features established guest editors in both fiction and poetry. The Journal accepts poetry, prose, essays, and interviews for submissions. Previous contributors include: Arthur Sze, David Mura, Barbara Tran, and Luis Francia.

Ten is an Asian American literary newsletter, known at one time as explanASIAN.
