I traded for the top one from a hardware store's display, it was a 1970
Case 33092 with birds-eye rivets and it had set in the display case so
long it was warped and barely worked. I took it apart to see if the
springs were crooked or what, the springs straightened out after the
plastic handle's tension was removed.
You can see where I laid both of them flat on the stone to sharpen.
The other knife is a mid 80's 6392 that I hollow ground the clip blade
thinner and also added a notch to the handle to make getting to the
spey blade's nail-mark easier. Can you see, from the facet made from
laying them flat on the stone how thick bladed the older 33092 is?
