I tried two flames side by side for more even heating of the thin knife
blades, hoping it would reduced the warping, it seemed to help.

I tried an electric motor speed control but it was too sloppy to use.
I switched to the baffle plate idea after realizing a piece of paper
on the intake grill worked great at adjusting the air flow. ;-)
