Finding SHOs and SHO Parts

    Ahh, the perpetual problem. The SHO was produced only for eleven years, 1989 to 1999, in three generations. Therefore, your dream SHO will be used, and probably well-used. They are difficult to find, sometimes, because a lot of online classification schemes list them under "Ford Taurus", even some of those that are willing to separate out "Ford Taurus Wagon" as it's own model. A Taurus on the outside, it has a completely different engine and drivetrain (courtesy Yamaha and Mazda), so really it should not be listed in the same category. That still wouldn't be quite so bad, if it weren't that the SHO was so rare and the Taurus so incredibly common. So, it can be a little like the proverbial needle-'n'-haystack.
