It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world !

And I love it !

When I was a kid, I wound up living in just about every one of the large cities of India, since my father's job took him just everywhere. College took me to a few more places across the country, and my first job kept up the pattern. It was with my second job that the wanderjahr really struck, sending me out across the planet (well, South-East Asia, anyway); those couple of years (1994 and 1995) saw me roaming over large (and obscure ) tracts of Asia and parts of Europe. 1996 and 1997 confined me to the US (busy, busy, busy ) but 1998 saw me return to the fray with a quick trip over to Canada (which is a gorgeous place ).

2002 saw me travelling to several places across India.

2003 saw a fair bit of travel, too, as I finally made it to New Orleans, and another long-planned trip, the trek through the Inca Trail. (The last time I'd planned the Inca trail was in 2001, but work levels forced me to cancel that trip. By a strange chance, none of the others who'd planned to go managed it that time either: their trip had been planned to start on September 11, 2001.

Well, okay ... I do plan on expanding on most or all of these places ... but just for now, to get started ...

The following is just going to be a long list of places I've been. I'll add links to each of the places, when I manage to jot down some serious info on them (ahh, motivation ... )
