I like the email appearing randomly in boxes in the way you did it. But I think people read it because the title of the piece was "Read my email." So people read it. I might like to do shorter thoughts that would be easy to read in boxes and text that change color. Then have a textarea where people can input their own thoughts. The original database of thoughts can come from Socks mail. Each box calls up one of the records at random. When someone inputs a thought, it gets added to the database and, therefore, will appear in the boxes at random. This is the way I think. This is why I am doing typing in this perl program. My life depends on getting this database thing working. But what I am not is a graphic designer/visual artist. So... how would you modify this idea to make it better?
