Panoramic "stitched together" of the astronomical clock tower in the center of
Old Town Prague.
Two days after this photo was taken, we happened to be under the clock when a
couple got married in the tower. They made an address to the crowd from the
small balcony in the left of the photo.
The original image is quite large--about 2000x7000 pixels, and almost 3MB. The
"full size" version of that here on the web site is 1/2 that size, but still
over 500KB.
March 21. The sky was a dramatic mix of clouds as we walked around on our
first day in Prague, but the rain held off. This shot was from the bank of the
River Vltava, looking toward the Church of the Holy Savior in the Old Town
Square.
The "most photographed watermill in the Czech Republic" in Mala Strana on the
Certovka canal under the Charles Bridge.
The Mala Strana bridge tower.
The statue of St. Aldabert, Prague's first Czech bishop, on the Charles
Bridge, with the Mala Strana tower in the background.

Town Hall square, with the Old Town Hall clock tower on the left.

knows it.

The clocktower on the Jewish Town Hall. Note the lower clock face, with
numbering in Hebrew and hands that run "backward."

A view of the Prague Castle from the Nove Mesto side of the Vltava river.
The wonderful Art Noveau tiled interior of the Kavarna Obecni dum. A nice
place to stop in for a meal while the weather turns from sunny to rain and
then snow, and back to sunny again. Every coffee drink comes with a doughnut!
