About Me
I’m your basic techie geeky type living and working in the beautiful city of San Francisco, CA. Hobbies include reading, UNIX-type operating systems, hanging with friends, and working out. I really love living in the city of San Francisco. There’s so much to do and see here and I’ve built up a good network of friends.
Previously, I’ve lived in Columbus, OH and Cary, NC.
Professional employment
In September of 2009, I was hired as a UNIX Systems Administrator by AdBrite, Inc. I currently assist in the maintenance and operation of over 1500 servers running OpenSuSE Linux as well as develop software to make the lives of our staff much easier. In the past, I’ve taken more software development roles, coding in Perl with some C and Java thrown in to keep things interesting. Since getting into the world of systems administration, I’ve been doing more programming work using the Bash shell.
