Type of Challenge: Mental

Basic

Guiding Tides: With this Art, you turn any container of water into a mystical compass, which with the expenditure of a Mental Trait will guide you to anything you have the Realms to describe.  In game terms, for the next half-hour you may ask people out of character if they have seen the person or thing you are looking for and where it was heading; they must answer truthfully.  If the target is using a power to conceal himself, such as Obfuscate or Veiled Eyes, you must still penetrate the veil in order to locate it.  The effect holds firm, although the Guiding Tides leads you to your target's general vicinity regardless of what spells she has on her, and players must still tell you if they saw the target even if their character couldn't.  The Guiding Tides evokes surface ripples in itself pointing towards the general direction of the target, stronger waves indicating proximity to the target.  A target may be generic such as an honest man (points to closest man making a truthful statement continuously during the cantrip's duration) but such description is subject to Storyteller approval and may cause the cantrip to fail.  The Guiding Tides will never point to members of House Eiluned.

Type: Chimerical

Intermediate

Reflecting Pool: This Art allows you to bring forth images of the past.  By full or partially immersing any object or person (including oneself) within still water, reflected images of the past of that object (subject to the immediate area of the object and your Scene Realm rating) can be produced upon the surface of the water.  Each image requires the expenditure of a Mental Trait and a successful Static Challenge against the banality of the object immersed.  The number of attempts to gain an image is limited to the total bunk traits generated for this cantrip.  The images are normally still though some powerful scenes have been known to play out upon the reflection.  Usages of Obfuscate or Veiled Eyes during the time to be seen will prevent any images from appearing.  You must know the time frame to call upon to show, up to the creation of the object.  In no event can scenes over a century ago be shown.

Type: Chimerical

Advanced

Spring: With this Art, you are able to create potions able to do a wide variety of effects.   By concentrating Glamour within a portion (at least eight ounces) of freshly drawn water, you may cause an effect of your choosing upon those who willingly imbibe (whether they know it or not) the full amount at some later time.  This effect is subject to Storyteller approval and in no case may cause direct fatal consequences (though a potion of endless sleep can be created, a potion of instant poison would automatically fail) or the temporary or permanent gain or subtraction of more traits than were generated by the bunk for this cantrip.  Mental or Social changes may be resisted by normal Willpower expenditure upon imbibing the potion.  Each such potion made requires the expenditure of either two temporary Glamour or one or more Permanent Glamour per Storyteller discretion depending on the power of the desired effect.
