Spicy Barbequed Lamb

Lamb meat barbequed with hot spices.

1 pound (boneless cut in small cubes) lamb
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon ginger
2 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon red chilli powder
1 tablespoon, juice onion
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon yogurt
salt to taste
2 tablespoon ghee

Mix all the spices including onion juice and yogurt and lemon juice. Marinate the meat pieces well and keep aside for one hour. (The more time you marinate the tastier it will be, say 24 hour to 48 hour. Do keep the meat in refrigerator when marinating for such a long time) Thread on skewers and cook on a barbeque or under preheated grill. Turn a few times and baste with ghee during cooking. Remove from grill when cooked properly.
