1 cup cider vinegar
¾ cup water
⅔ cup onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon sugar
1 bay leaf
⅔ teaspoon thyme
3 tablespoon oil
3 teaspoon dry mustard
6 teaspoon water
Boil all but last two ingredients for five minutes. Dissolve mustard in water and add. Use to baste.
