Recipe from: Chef Miller
3 pounds cabbage, shredded
2 white onion, thinly sliced
1 green pepper, halved and sliced thin
1 cup oil
2 cup sugar
1 cup vinegar
2 teaspoons celery seed
1 teaspoon salt
Put shredded cabbage in large bowl. Layer onions and green pepper on top. Boil oil, sugar, vinegar, celery seed and salt for 1 minute. Pour over cabbage mixture. Let stand at least 2 hours — Best if let sit overnight — then mix well.
