1 12 ounce can reduced sodium black beans, rinsed and drained
1 4 ounce can diced green chiles, do not drain
1 medium onion, diced
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon chili powder
dash salt, optional
dash pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil, rub grill

In large bowl mash rinsed and drained black beans. Add turkey, diced green chiles, onion, cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper to the black beans. Use hands to mix ingredients together. Do not over work the meat, mix only until even mixture of ingredients. Divide meat into 6 patties, shape. Adjust grill to medium heat. If grill cooks hot, use medium low. Wipe grill rack with oil and put burgers on to grill. Grill 4 to 7 minutes on each side, depending on how thick you made your burgers. Turn once. Use meat thermometer if in doubt as to doneness.
