Classic Tillamook® Cheeseburger

Servings: 4 cheesburgers

1 ¼ pounds ground beef
salt and pepper
4 slices Tillamook® Sharp Cheddar Cheese
4 Kaiser rolls, split and toasted
1 tomato, sliced
pickle slices
1 medium onion, thinly sliced

Form the beef into 4 (½ inch thick) patties. Season with salt and pepper. Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high. Add burgers and cook 4 minutes on each side, until a thermometer inserted in the center reads 155°F. Top each patty with a cheese slice, turn off heat and cover until cheese melts.

Serve burgers on Kaiser rolls with pickles, lettuce, onions and your favorite condiments.
