Tirk sa-ieu chu p'em (Sweet Soy Dipping Sauce)

Tangy sweet soy sauce is not only great for a vegetarian dipping sauce, it also great for dipping any kind of meat .

¼ cup hot water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 ½ to 2 tablespoon sugar, or to taste
½ teaspoon Sambal Olekek grounded chile paste, optional
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
¼ cup roasted unsalted peanuts, crushed.

Mix hot water, soy sauce, lime juice, sugar and hot pepper together. Mix well. Top with peanuts before serving.
