Home Sweet Hot Texas Chili

Servings: 4 to 6

1 ½ pound "chili grind" ground sirloin, or hamburger
2 onions, chopped
2 teaspoon cumin
5 tablespoon chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 to 4 ounce green chilies, chopped
2 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 to 3 tablespoon sugar
1 large can of tomato sauce
1 can of pinto beans, optional
¼ cup taco sauce of choice
½ cup water
1 can Campbell's beef broth, undiluted

Brown the beef and onions, drain. Then add all remaining ingredients and simmer 1 to 2 hours, covered. Stirring occasionally.

Feel free to play with the heat as it suits you, it's plenty spicy as is!
