Recipe from: Randy Robinson
Phase 1
3 pounds beef
8 ounce ground pork
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon Wesson oil
⅓ cup onions
½ teaspoon granulated garlic
1 can beef stock
2 cans chicken stock
8 ounce can Hunt's® tomato sauce
½ tablespoon cumin
1 4 ounce can mild green chilies
1 jalapeño pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoon Gebhardt's chili powder
Phase 2
4 ounce Hunt's tomato sauce
4 tablespoon Gebhardt's chili powder
2 tablespoon mild New Mexico chili powder
2 tablespoon cumin
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
½ tablespoon brown sugar
Phase 1:
Sauté meat in Wesson oil, drain and add to a 4 quart cooking pot. Add all other ingredients and simmer covered 1 ½ hours.
Phase 2:
Uncover, add all ingredients in Phase 2 and simmer 45 minutes.
