Recipe from: The Crab Place
Servings: 6 to 8
This thick, rich soup, whether served alone or as part of a complete meal, is sure to be a conversation piece. I have found it to be perfectly reheatable for a late night snack.
2 tablespoons butter
¼ cup diced onion
½ cup diced celery
1 pound fresh jumbo lump crab meat
1 tablespoon Old Bay Seafood Seasoning
¼ pound cheddar cheese, shredded
¼ pound diced fresh shrimp
¼ pound fresh chopped mushrooms
1 teaspoon parsley
1 ½ cups milk
½ cup sherry
Melt butter and sauté ½ cup diced onion and ½ cup diced celery in skillet and add the remaining ingredients. Simmer until steaming.
