Recipe from: Marguerite Cartwright
This is delicious served with boiled red potatoes. Have worn out several crockpots in the last few years making things like this while I was still working 12 hour days. They are the best thing to come along since sliced bread!
6 pork chops
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 bag or large. can sauerkraut rinsed and drained
1 16 ounce can stewed tomatoes
1 20 ounce jar applesauce
2 tablespoon horseradish
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 medum onion chopped
Brown chops in olive oil in fry pan. Mix sauerkraut, tomatoes, applesauce, horseradish, brown sugar and onion in crock pot. Place chops on top and push down into the mixture. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Serve with red potatoes boiled in their skins. So good to come home to after a long day at work.
