Apéritif Beaujolais

Servings: 6 to 8

This "house cocktail" at Le Cep is served from the traditional earthenware pitcher called a pot.


1 bottle fleurie or other beaujolais
3 ounces cremè de cassis
½ ounce sweet framboise liquer — not dry framboise eau-de-vie

Combine in a large pitcher and stir well. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight. Stir again just before serving very cold.
