Spicy Catfish Almondine

This recipe is from my aunt, Louise Austin, from the cookbook, What's Cooking with FLO?, favorite bayou country recipes of FLO (For Ladies Only) from the First Baptist Church in Napoleonville, Louisiana published in 1990.

¼ cup butter or margarine
3 tablespoons lemon juice
6 6 ounce catfish filets
1½ teaspoon Creole seasoning
½ cup sliced almonds

Combine butter and lemon juice. Dip each filet in the butter mixture and arrange in a baking dish. Sprinkle fish with Creole seasoning and almonds. Bake at 375°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with fork.
