Bul Kogi (Korean Barbecue Beef)

Servings: 4

2 pounds beef sirloin tips or flank steak
½ cup soy sauce
6 tablespoons brown sugar
6 green onions
2 cloves garlic; minced
4 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Cut the beef into pieces, chop the onions, mix with rest of the ingredients, and marinate all together for at least 2 hours. Can be barbecued on the grill as kebobs or stir-fried. A dash of cayenne pepper may be added for taste. Vegetables may be chopped and added to the kabobs or to the stir-fry. Serve alone or with rice.
