Servings: 4 to 6
Can also put porkchops on top of potatoes. Also have used kielbasa.
3 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon flour
1 tps salt
⅛ tps pepper
3 cups milk
6 medium (6 cups) potatoes, pared, thinly sliced
2 tablespoon chopped onion
hot sauce to taste
Make white sauce from first 5 ingredients. Place half the potatoes in greased 2-quart casserole; cover with half the onion and half the sauce. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350°F. about 1 hour. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer.
