As simple as this is, using all fresh ingredients: ripe tomato , fresh basil leaves, and fresh made ball mozzarella cheese plus extra virgin olive oil makes basic flavor combinations outstanding.
fresh ripe tomatoes
fresh basil leaves, or other fresh herbs in season
fresh made ball mozzarella cheese
extra virgin olive oil
fresh grated black pepper
Slice tomato as well as fresh ball mozzarella cheese thin. Alternate slices of tomato and cheese in a circle on the plate. Tuck in fresh basil leaves and sprinkle with extra virgin olive oil, coarse salt and fresh grated black pepper. Servings size all are dependent on how much you plan to use of each ingredient.
