Servings: 2 to 4
¾ cup hiziki, dried
1 carrot, finely grated
¾ cup lentil sprouts
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoon. brown rice vinegar
⅓ cup green onions, minced
1 tablespoon lite soy sauce
2 teaspoon. toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, brown or toasted preferred
dash chile sesame oil or cayenne
garnish with a couple of cilantro sprigs
Soak hiziki in water for 10 minutes to soften. Rinse and drain a couple of times with fresh water. Put all ingredients except sesame seeds into a medium bowl and toss well. Chill. Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro.
