Pear Salsa

Servings: 5 cups

2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
1 medium Onion, chopped
1 Green pepper, chopped fine
1 large garlic clove, chopped fine
2 tablespoon Finely chopped parsley
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
½ teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Chopped fresh oregano, or 1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon Chopped fresh basil, or 1 teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon Tabasco sauce
2 medium Tomatoes, seeded and chopped coarse
2 To 3 pears, peeled and chopped

Heat oil in medium frypan. Sauté onion until tender, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add green pepper, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, oregano, basil and Tobasco sauce; cook 2 minutes. Remove frypan from heat and stir in tomatoes and pears. Cover and refrigerate.
