For a romantic dinner, serve grilled lobster in a Blood Orange Burre Blanc sauce.
juice from 4 to 5 blood oranges
¼ cup dry white wine
1 slice fresh ginger root
dash salt and white pepper
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter—more or less
In a small sauce pan reduce wine and blood orange juice, and ginger root till thick and syrupy. Cut butter into small pieces and whisk in till a smooth thick sauce forms. Season to taste with salt and white pepper.
Cut lobsters in half, and grill, or steam whole, and serve with the blood orange sauce.
