1 pound pork, ground
1 teaspoon cumin, ground
½ teaspoon thyme, dried leaf
½ teaspoon sage, dried leaf
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon Pepper, freshly ground
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
Combine all ingredients in medium bowl; mix well. Cover and refrigerate overnight for flavors to blend. Shape into 6 patties. Cook in lightly greased skillet over medium heat about 15 minutes or until browned on both sides and centers are no longer pink, turning occasionally.
