Bobtail Rub

Recipe from: Chile Pepper, June 2006
Servings: about ½ cup

Recipe adapted from Grilling America. The name comes from the song "Jingle Bells," because this rub was developed during the holiday season.

2 tablespoons sweet paprika
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
2 teaspoons freshly ground pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon dried summer savory
1 teaspoon dry mustard
½ teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon ground coriander
2 teaspoons coarsely ground green peppercorns
1 teaspoon allspice

In a bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Use immediately, or store in an airtight container. To use, sprinkle on whatever you wish to grill, and allow to dry-marinade for 4 hours or overnight.
