1 package tofu, 14.2 ounces
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ pound ground pork
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoon scallions, chopped fine
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
2 cups vegetable oil, for frying
Cut tofu into 1 inch cubes, scoop center of each cube out, set aside to outer shells. Mix scooped out tofu, pork, garlic, scallion, coriander, salt, pepper, cornstarch and egg. Stuff back into tofu shells. Heat oil in wok over medium heat, deep fry the stuffed tofu until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with Nam Jim Priao Wan.
