½ cup taro shreds
½ cup taro cubes
1 ½ cups crab meat
2 tablespoons cilantro root, garlic and pepper corns pounded together in a motar to make a fine paste
½ tablespoon salt
1 cup rice flour
1 cup wheat flour
½ cup coconut milk, medium thick
½ tablespoon nam pla
In a container, mix taro shreds, taro cubes, crab meat, cilantro paste, salt, rice flour wheat flour, and nam pla. Knead the mixture while gradually adding the coconut milk. Shape into small round shapes, about an inch across. Deepfry in hot oil. Drain and serve hot with aa-jaat or chile sauce.
