Recipe from: Papaya Salad
½ pound pork, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 tablespoon seasoning sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
2 cups Chinese kale stalks, peeled and cut into thin slices
2 tablespoons garlic, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons phrik ki nu
3 tablespoons lime juice
3 tablespoons nam pla
2 tablespoons palm sugar
fresh vegetables, cucumbers, string beans, cabbage, etc.
In a bowl, mix pork, light soy sauce, seasoning sauce, ground white pepper and sugar. Allow to marinade about 1 hour. Grill pork until cooked, then cut into bite sized thin slices.
Pound garlic and phrik ki nu until fairly fine. Add lime juice, nam pla and palm sugar. Mix well. Add Chinese kale stalks and grilled pork. Mix well. Taste to flavor and arrange on serving plate. Serve immediately with fresh vegetables.
