Recipe from: Papaya Salad
1 cup ham, sliced into strips
¼ cup string beans, cut into short lengths
¼ cup small tomatoes, like cherry tomatoes, cut in half lengthwise
2 tablespoons dried shrimp
2 tablespoons garlic, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons phrik ki nu
¼ cup lime juice
2 tablespoons nam pla
2 tablespoons palm sugar
¼ cup fried cashew nuts
fresh vegetables, like string beans, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, etc.
Pound garlic and phrik ki nu until fairly fine. Add string beans, dried shrimp and tomatoes. Pound until well mixed. Add lime juice, nam pla and palm sugar. Mix well. Add ham and mix well. Taste to flavor and arrange on serving plate. Serve immediately with fresh vegetables.
