Prepare 1 cup Sweet and Sour Salad with finely chopped onions,
radishes, celery
2 cups tender beef thinly sliced against the grain
Sauté the meat for a few seconds in the marinate:
½ cup beef stock
½ cup water
1 chopped garlic clove
1 bouquet garni composed of 3 sprigs each of parsley thyme, 1 bay leaf
Pour 2 tablespoons mashed, roasted peanuts and 2 tablespoons seasoned nước mắm (fish sauce) over the combined cooked meat and sweet and sour salad.
