8 to 10 pieces of cut-up chicken
1 cup cooking oil
1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons sugar
2 garlic cloves, well mashed
Season the meat with garlic, cinnamon, salt and sugar. Soak in cooking oil for 1 hour at room temperature. Drain. Charcoal grill over low fire until golden brown or cook in the oven at 300°F for 1 ½ hours.
Serve with sticky rice (sweet rice).
