Newton Connection Center
The Newton Connection Center, known as NCC for short, is the latest development to enable you to exploit all the possibilities of your Newton Message-Pad without any restriction. It combines the functions of a recharger with those of an effective communication unit. Via the integrated interface in the NCC, it is now possible on the one hand to dial other computers or networks with the modem, or alternatively contact can also be made via the integrated serial interface with other local units. This means that it is at last possible to link up the Newton to other data networks without any physical connections. The continually requested "wireless-communication" between the Newton and external units is trough this NCC finally a reality.

The NCC provides charging (like the already available "charging station") and communication capabilities. With the Newton's infrared communications port wireless communication via a 28,8kbps modem or serial port to other computers and networks is possible.
