  OrderTaker is a suite of applications for sales force automation that is very similar to SalesAssistant (also offered by Mitchell System Designs). It runs on a Newton device and provides a paperless order taking system. OrderTaker is designed to allow a salesperson to easily access the information required to take a customer's order. It frees the salesperson from searching through multiple printouts to access customer and product information. The information at hand is:

  • A prearranged order pad
  • Past orders
  Most input is done by tapping and selecting or by writing in numbers for quantities or products.
