- THE INFERNO (a detective story)
Neither a simple plot summary--a man's journey through many rings of hell--not a character synopsis--Karas, a dying soldier; Shakespeare's Ophelia; an embodiment of Time; and a chorus of hell's many minions--can begin to tell the full story of this play. Liska elevates words, sound, image, color, and tempo to the high statues reserved by classical playwrights for character and plot. This is a play meant to be experienced, not merely read.
